Design Technology - Intermediate CADD
This is a Design Technology course in intermediate computer-aided design and drafting. This is primarily a full laboratory course which emphasizes practice over theory. It is assumed students have completed a basic course in drafting fundamentals and CAD application software. Instructors are assumed to have more than an elementary familiarity with AutoCAD. Requires access to AutoCAD drawing application.
Week 1 Summary: Setup review. Isometric and orthographic projections.
Week: 1 Day: 1
Review drawing setup. Instructor demonstrate how to create a blank drawing template including inserting a title block. Students will create their own templates for this and subsequent exercises. Practice using the DIMENSION command.
