PowerPoint Presentation The importance of developing yourself: behavior modification, barriers to change, understanding yourself and others, diversity, assessing strengths and weaknesses, communication, and motivation.
Power Point Presentation Address the importance of broadening the engineering/technology education. Advantages and particulars of student organizations, engineering/technology projects, and pre-professional employment. Emphasize "giving back" to the school and community for future generations.
Structure the students into teams based on major disciplines of interest. Prepare a powerpoint presentation on the discipline to include: description, education, opportunities, professional societies, opportunities,etc. Also, develop a poster depicting your discipline.
Evaluation/ Presentation. Discuss research process and offer helpful hints to other groups that may enhance their presentations. If an assigned mentor is outside of your discipline, check with them as a possible reference for another group.
