The objectives of the Computer Architecture and Repair Course are to provide hands on computer repair and troubleshooting experiences along with basic training in the WinTel platform (DOS, Windows 95/98/2000 on donated IBM clone computers with Pentium ll or older CPUs).

The course is one year (two semesters), standards-based, and directed at 9-12th grade students.

Presented here is a truncated, six-week module that can be used in an engineering/technology survey course. Educators interested in a semester or full year course may review the full course outline.

Students enrolled in this course be an effective tech workforce on campus and may have the opportunity to pass the A+ Certification Exam.
